Burger King Is Testing Vegan Chicken Nuggets

Burger King is testing out vegan Impossible Chicken Nuggets at select locations starting October 11. Made from soy, sunflower oil, and herbs, these nuggets come coated in wheat crumbs for a crunchy finish that even meat-eaters may enjoy. In a taste test, 74% of meat-eating consumers preferred these nuggets over traditional animal-based chicken nuggets.

For vegan options at Burger King, customers can enjoy French toast sticks, hash browns, French fries, and applesauce, all of which are egg-free and vegan as they come. The Impossible Whopper can also be made vegan by simply removing the mayo, with the bun being vegan as well.
