By Chloe Founder Chloe Coscarelli Opens New Vegan Restaurant

Chloe Coscarelli, founder of the By CHLOE vegan restaurant chain, has opened a new vegan restaurant named "CHLOE" in New York City. The all-day café features a completely vegan menu with classic dishes made with thoughtfully sourced ingredients. CHLOE opened on July 16, 2024, offering plant-based burgers, salads, mac and cheese, cakes, and cookies.

In the past, By CHLOE faced legal battles, including Coscarelli being ousted from the company in 2016. After a lengthy legal battle, she was granted 50 percent ownership of the company in 2020. Following bankruptcy, the business was acquired by investors and rebranded as "Beatnic." Coscarelli referenced these challenges in her announcement about the new restaurant, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to return to the same neighborhood where she opened her original restaurant almost a decade ago.
