California Establishes Committee to Focus on Economic and Environmental Potential of Alternative Proteins

The California Assembly Speaker has established a new Select Committee on Alternative Protein Innovation to focus on the economic and environmental potential of alternative proteins. The committee plans to hold informational hearings to further discuss growing this new economy and its potential contributions to California's climate and food sustainability goals.
