The organization relies on individuals who have worked in farms, slaughterhouses, or in the transportation of live animals to help uncover hidden abuse and suffering. Witnesses are encouraged to provide details such as company names, locations, species of animals involved, and any photo or video evidence they may have.

The psychological toll of witnessing cruelty in the industry is acknowledged, and those who come forward can choose to remain anonymous. By sharing their experiences, whistleblowers can help Viva! expose the atrocities of animal agriculture and hold responsible parties accountable.
