The brothers have turned to crowdfunding to bring their nostalgic, dairy-free chocolates to life, with Kickstarter being essential to their journey from the beginning.

Their crowdfunding campaigns have been a success, with the latest one raising $150,000 in 2021, and now they are hoping for similar success in 2025. Trupo's bars are not only dairy-free but also Rainforest Alliance Certified and packaged in recyclable materials. The brand aims to donate more than 10 percent of its net profits to animal sanctuaries and other sustainability-focused organizations.
