The transaction will involve Health Logic acquiring all outstanding shares of The Better Butchers in exchange for newly issued common stock, creating a new entity called The Better Butchers Inc. The company, known for its clean-label meat alternatives, is looking to expand its product line and distribution in Canada, the US, and Europe.

The deal, set to be completed by the end of October, will also involve The Better Butchers raising funds through a private placement and financing to support its growth and advancement in the alternative protein market. With plans for further retail expansion and research into cultivated meat, the company aims to establish itself as a key player in the plant-based protein industry amidst ongoing consolidation within the sector.
