Canadian Sanctuary Rescues Blind Elderly Goat Named Gigi from the Streets

An elderly blind goat named Gigi was rescued by Black Goat Farm Sanctuary in Ontario, Canada after being abandoned on a remote roadside. The 15-year-old goat was found suffering from overgrown hooves, severe anaemia, pneumonia, and a lice infestation. Despite her challenges, Gigi showed remarkable resilience and made significant progress with round-the-clock care. The sanctuary reported that she was settling in well and improving, with plans to introduce her to the rest of the herd after completing her quarantine.
