Chicago Is Getting a Vegan Afternoon Tea Thanks to Rock Icon Billy Corgan

Madame Zuzu’s, a vegan teashop in Highland Park, Illinois, founded by clothing designer Chloe Corgan and rock icon Billy Corgan, is partnering with Alma at Hotel Zachary in Chicago to host a fully vegan afternoon tea experience every Sunday in March. In honor of Women’s History Month, the event will feature a variety of plant-based dishes alongside Madame Zuzu’s signature tea blends.

The teashop, which also functions as a record store offering limited-edition vinyls, reopened in 2020 in a larger space in Highland Park. Known for serving quality vegan food, Madame Zuzu’s offers a range of plant-based dishes such as Impossible Nachos, Carrot Lox Toast, and Grandma JoJo's Meatball Sub. The vegan afternoon tea experience at Alma at Hotel Zachary is a must-visit, featuring a curated selection of teas and plant-based treats for $45 per person on Sunday, March 22nd.
