Chicago’s Vegan Soft Serve Shop Vaca’s Creamery to Open Second Location Next Year

Vaca’s Creamery, a popular plant-based ice cream shop in Chicago, is set to open a second location in Lincoln Square in February. Known for their vegan soft serve made with oat milk, Vaca’s has quickly become a favorite among both vegans and non-vegans in the city. In just a year and a half, the shop has risen to the #1 ice cream spot on Yelp in Illinois.

The new Lincoln Square location will have an expanded menu with new toppings, ice cream flavors, and seasonal pastries. Head chef Mariana Marinho will draw from her Brazilian roots to bring unique desserts to the shop. Unlike the original location, the new outpost will offer ample seating both indoors and on an outdoor patio.
