Bettani Farms, formerly known as Climax Foods, has undergone a rebranding process and appointed Sandeep Patel as the new CEO and Chairman. A $6.5 million Series A funding round led by S2G Investments has been closed, with investments from other venture firms as well. The company aims to revolutionize the plant-based cheese industry with its proprietary ingredient, Caseed, which allows them to create dairy-free cheeses that mimic the texture and melt of dairy casein.

With a focus on sustainability, Bettani Farms sources proteins from regenerative crops, making their products a more eco-friendly alternative to traditional dairy or fermentation-based plant cheeses. The company is set to transform the pizza industry with their Caseed-powered cheeses, providing consumers with options that deliver on taste, texture, and performance without the allergens typically found in dairy, soy, or nuts.
