Columbus, Ohio Donut Shop Goes (Mostly) Vegan

Destination Donuts, a popular donut shop in Columbus, Ohio, has announced that they will be offering a primarily vegan donut selection based on fan feedback. The shop will now feature fully vegan donut dough with a variety of cruelty-free flavors and toppings, such as Cinnamon Sugar Twists and Maple Pecan Cinnamon Rolls. While non-vegan options will still be available, they will be easily distinguishable and displayed on black trays.

Owner Heather Morris aims to bring unique, artisanal, and handcrafted donuts to the Columbus community, now including a primarily vegan selection. The shop has already been transitioning many recipes to vegan versions and has received overwhelming support since the announcement. Destination Donuts is located at 3519 N High Street and is open Wednesday through Sunday from 7am to 3pm, offering a delicious array of vegan and non-vegan breakfast classics made with locally sourced ingredients.
