Continental Wine & Food Launches Plant-Based Vodkashake Liqueurs

UK-based drinks producer Continental Wine & Food (CWF) has recently introduced Lacey’s Vodkashake, a plant-based cream liqueur inspired by 1950s American diner-style milkshakes. Available in banana and strawberry flavors, these vegan-friendly and gluten-free liqueurs are made with vodka, natural fruit flavors, and a creamy dairy-free base. CWF recommends serving the liqueurs as chilled shots or incorporating them into hard milkshakes and cocktails.

Cream liqueurs are gaining popularity in the UK, with CGA figures showing growth in this category in 2023. While many cream liqueurs are not suitable for vegans, there are some exceptions like Panther M*lk and Cremaura. CWF's new plant-based liqueurs cater to a growing market of consumers looking for sweet alternatives to traditional drinks, particularly those who are lactose intolerant or following a plant-based diet. The new liqueurs are now available at 500 B&M stores throughout the UK.
