Costa Coffee Just Launched Vegan Whipped Cream In All UK Stores

Costa Coffee in the UK has introduced a new vegan whipped cream called "Light Whip" that is free from animal products and can be added to any handmade drink. This move is part of the company's efforts to expand its menu options for plant-based consumers, allowing them to enjoy fanciful concoctions without compromising on toppings or treats. In addition to the vegan whipped cream, Costa also offers a dairy-free milk alternative called "Ultimate Blend," which customers can swap for dairy milk without any extra charge until May 3.

Despite these additions to its menu, Costa Coffee has faced some challenges with the vegan community, as animal rights activists recently protested outside multiple stores due to footage showing poor conditions at a dairy farm that supplies the chain. However, Costa continues to expand its plant-based offerings, including launching a vegan festive sandwich and a vegan bacon roll in recent years.
