Daring Foods has introduced microwavable plant chicken products, Diced and Shredded Plant Chicken, to cater to consumers seeking convenient and nutritious plant-based protein options. These products are now available at Walmart and Albertsons nationwide, containing up to 45 grams of protein per package with a clean label consisting of soy protein concentrate, vegetable oil, and spices. The company emphasizes that the new offerings are 100% plant-based, gluten-free, and non-GMO, appealing to a wide range of dietary preferences.

The launch of these products comes after Daring Foods was acquired by v2food, an Australian plant-based meat company, in August 2025. This acquisition, in collaboration with Ajinomoto Co., positions Daring for future growth in the US market by leveraging v2food's food technology and Ajinomoto's food science expertise. With a focus on expanding their brand in the plant-based protein sector, Daring aims to offer innovative plant-based products to meet the increasing demand for sustainable and tasty alternatives to traditional meat options.
