Canadian rapper Drake has recently invested in the plant-based chicken brand Daring Foods as part of their Series B round of funding. This investment will allow the company to expand its retail reach to 4,500 US stores by the end of the year. Daring Foods offers a variety of frozen plant-based chicken products, including Original, Lemon & Herb, Cajun, and Original Breaded varieties.

While Drake has not formally announced he is vegan, his investment in Daring Foods hints at a possible plant-based commitment. Other celebrities, such as Leonardo DiCaprio and Bill Gates, have also invested in vegan meat companies like Beyond Meat and Impossible Foods. With the backing of celebrity investors, these companies are focused on creating authentic, meaty products to reduce animal consumption for current and future generations.
