Health, nutrition, and beauty company dsm-firmenich has opened the Van Marken Food Innovation Center in Delft, the Netherlands. The center aims to help customers develop nutritious, sustainable, and tasty food and beverage solutions by housing the Taste, Texture & Health business unit, a co-creation kitchen, and application laboratories. The center will focus on developing plant-based alternatives, sugar reduction solutions, and enhancing taste experiences and nutrition.

The building is designed to be certified with high well-being and sustainability standards, with over 400 employees working on-site. dsm-firmenich is committed to innovation and sustainability, positioning the center in the Dutch Biotech Campus Delft to contribute to the local environment and Dutch economy. The company is dedicated to creating new and exciting food categories and is focused on plant-based and dairy beverage development at their new pilot plant in New Jersey, aiming to be at the forefront of global food and biotechnology innovation.
