Duck Factory Farming Exposed In New Investigation

An investigation by Animal Justice Project has revealed disturbing practices within duck factory farming in the UK. The footage released shows the brutal depopulation of ducks at Byram Park Farm, which supplies Gressingham Foods, the UK's largest duck producer. Ducks were seen being caught for slaughter in a mass and inhumane manner, leading to severe welfare compromises and injuries among the birds.

Duck farming in the UK often goes unnoticed, with around 11 million ducks farmed annually. However, these animals are kept intensively in large sheds, deprived of access to water for bathing - a crucial need for their mental and physical health. Animal Justice Project has conducted multiple investigations in farms across the country, uncovering widespread cruelty and pushing for a shift towards more compassionate and sustainable alternatives in the food industry.
