Eight PLANTA Locations to Continue Operating as Restaurant Chain Emerges From Bankruptcy

PLANTA, a North American chain of upscale plant-based restaurants, recently emerged from bankruptcy after filing for Chapter 11 protection in May. The company cited the need to restructure operations and reduce costs due to declining consumer spending. The chain's parent company, CHG US Holdings LLC, was sold to New CHG US Holdings, LLC for $7.8 million in converted debt.

Following the successful restructuring, eight out of PLANTA's 18 restaurants will continue to operate in high-profile locations in the United States and Canada. The chain is known for its vegan cuisine, luxurious décor, and vibrant bar programs.
