EIT Food Awards €600,000 to 18 AgriFoodTech Startups at Next Bite 2025

EIT Food has awarded a total of €600,000 to 18 innovative AgriFoodTech startups in Europe through its 2025 Tech Validation Funding. The funding, given at the Next Bite 2025 event, aims to help these startups validate their technologies and prepare for scaling and market adoption. Winners were chosen from six EIT Food Accelerator Network hubs and received funding based on their stage of development and technological potential.

In addition to financial support, the winning companies will benefit from expert mentorship, access to research facilities, and connections with EIT Food's corporate partners to help refine their products and reach faster market readiness. This Tech Validation Funding bridges the gap between early-stage development and market launch for startups in the AgriFoodTech space, providing crucial support for testing, scalability assessment, and attracting investments. The EIT Food Accelerator Network has supported over 400 startups, contributing to a healthier, sustainable, and resilient food system in Europe.
