Eleven Madison Park’s Chef Daniel Humm Is the First-Ever UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador for Global Food Education

Renowned Swiss chef Daniel Humm has been appointed as the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) Goodwill Ambassador for Food Education. Humm, known for his plant-based transformation of Eleven Madison Park, will advocate for sustainability and global food equity. His role will involve promoting the safeguarding of culinary traditions, protecting natural heritage, and advocating for sustainable nutrition.

Humm's advocacy will extend to global platforms, including speaking at international conferences. He will collaborate with fellow UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador Chef Mauro Colagreco for a public plant-based dinner and contribute to the development of the UNESCO International Food Atlas. Additionally, Humm will release a new cookbook capturing the full metamorphosis of Eleven Madison Park into the first plant-based kitchen to earn three Michelin stars.
