Enifer’s Mycoprotein Moves From Treats to a Complete Dog Diet With HenArt’s LEVENDO

Dutch pet food brand HenArt has launched LEVENDO, a complete dog food for adult and senior dogs made with PEKILO® mycoprotein from Finnish company Enifer. This product is on sale in the EU and UK, marking PEKILO's first international consumer launch. The food is formulated to meet FEDIAF nutritional guidelines and is produced by gentle baking, providing essential amino acids, beta-glucans, B vitamins, and spermidine.

HenArt developed the recipe and protein blend in-house, with European manufacturers handling production. The goal of LEVENDO is to provide dog owners with a nutritious and enjoyable food option for their pets, without compromising on quality. Enifer's commercial plant in Finland will ensure a steady supply of PEKILO for future production, showcasing the potential of mycoprotein in mainstream pet nutrition.
