Entries Open for the 2025 Plant-Based Excellence Awards

The 2025 Plant-Based Excellence Awards are now open for entries, offering plant-based product companies the chance to have their offerings evaluated by industry experts. With 15 categories available, including sweet and savory products, meat alternatives, and ready meals, entries will be judged on criteria such as taste, appearance, branding, sustainability, and business potential. Companies showcasing at the Plant Based World Expo Europe 2025 will receive one free product entry, while others will need to pay a fee. The deadline for submissions is August 1, 2025, with winners announced in early October.

The judging panel, consisting of buyers and industry advisors, will assess entries based on taste, appearance, and sustainability. The taste category holds the most weight, accounting for 50% of the score, followed by appearance at 30%, and sustainability at 20%. Winning a Plant-Based Excellence Award can provide companies with recognition for their quality and sustainability efforts, as well as a chance to showcase their products to a wider audience of potential buyers.
