Erewhon Becomes Fourth US Grocer to Stock Beyond Steak Filet

Beyond Meat's mycelium-based Beyond Steak Filet will now be stocked at Erewhon stores in Southern California, marking the first time the premium organic grocer has carried the product. The Beyond Steak Filet, which launched in brick-and-mortar stores at the end of June, has already been successful through direct-to-consumer sales and on the menu at BOA Steakhouse.

Each serving of the filet contains 28g of plant protein, 3g of fiber, and 1g of saturated fat, with avocado oil as the fat source. The product, which is Clean Label Project certified and Non-GMO Project verified, is aligned with Erewhon's ingredient requirements. Founder and CEO Ethan Brown sees the launch at Erewhon as a positive development, bringing the product to a community that values nutrition and simple ingredients through a retailer known for being ahead of wellness trends.
