Ex-Alpro CEO Joins Board of Italian Plant-Based Dairy Startup Dreamfarm

Dreamfarm, a plant-based dairy company based in Parma, has appointed Sue Garfitt, former CEO of Alpro, to its Board of Directors as an independent member. Garfitt brings senior commercial and category-building experience to the company as it prepares to expand across Europe following a successful year in 2025. With Garfitt on board, Dreamfarm aims to become a leading player in the competitive and quality-focused European plant-based dairy segment.

Founded in 2021, Dreamfarm saw its revenues nearly double in 2025, reaching close to €2 million. The company, which offers fresh plant-based dairy alternatives in Italy, Benelux, France, and Germany, focuses on delivering high-quality, authentic products rather than simply providing substitutes. Backed by Italian entrepreneurs Francesco Mutti and Giampaolo Cagnin, Dreamfarm is poised for growth in the European market with its product superiority and market capabilities.
