Farm Sanctuary Watkins Glen in New York is set to launch 'The Kitchen at Farm Sanctuary,' the first-ever all-vegan cafe on the grounds of a farm animal sanctuary. Supported by celebrities like Oprah Winfrey and Joaquin Phoenix, this initiative is aimed at promoting compassionate and sustainable food choices. The menu will feature plant-based dishes made with locally-sourced ingredients, including options like savory pizzas and vegan desserts.

Visitors can enhance their experience by booking a stay in one of Farm Sanctuary's tiny houses or cabins, where they can start their day with a guided tour to meet rescued animals followed by a flavorful vegan meal. Chef Gail Patak, the Manager of Culinary Education and Cafe Operations, hopes that The Kitchen at Farm Sanctuary will introduce newcomers to the delicious and satisfying nature of plant-based food, ultimately promoting a kinder world for animals, people, and the planet.
