First-Ever ‘Plant Powered Kids’ Festival To Take Place In NYC

The first-ever Plant Powered Kids Festival will be held in Brooklyn, NYC, on February 2, 2025. The indoor event at Industry City will feature activities like workshops, cooking classes, yoga sessions, and a plant-powered vendor hall, all aimed at encouraging attendees to incorporate more vegan foods into their diets. This festival is organized by Plant Powered Kids, an organization supporting families in transitioning to plant-based lifestyles for health, ethical, and environmental reasons.

One of the festival's highlights will be a performance by "kindie rock" artist Jumpin' Jamie, along with workshops on plant-based eating led by pediatric dietitians from Plant Based Juniors. Other non-profits and vendors like Beanstory, RIND, Secret Vegan Kitchen, and PETA Kids will also be present. General admission tickets are available for $10 for individuals and $20 for families, with limited $25 Golden Tickets offering early entry and a plant-powered goodie bag.
