A new position paper from SustainableFoundations calls on the European Commission to include protein diversification in its upcoming Food & Agriculture Vision. The paper outlines the need for diverse, sustainable protein sources like plant, animal, and novel proteins to ensure a resilient food system. Key recommendations include supporting farmers in transitioning to sustainable practices, strengthening their market position, and promoting innovation in the agri-food sector.
