Food Pioneers Incubator Puts 19 Dutch Food Startups Before Investors and Retailers in Almere

Nineteen founders from the Food Pioneers Program in the Netherlands will be presenting their companies to investors, retailers, producers, and industry professionals on October 8 in Almere. Three of the participants have the chance to win €50,000 in growth capital. The startups were selected from a pool of over 120 applicants and have been diligently working on the next stage of their businesses through the program. The group consists of a variety of products, business models, and growth stages, including companies like Bo&Co Drinks and Fungitown Mushrooms.

During the event, each founder will share the current status of their company, their future plans, and what they need to achieve their goals. Attendees will have the opportunity to sample products and have direct conversations with the entrepreneurs. Professionals in retail, food service, production, investment, media, and innovation can request an invitation through the Food Pioneers website. The Food Pioneers program, operated by Stichting Flevo Campus in Almere, has recently expanded to include courses on the protein transition, regenerative agriculture, and entrepreneurship, in addition to supporting early-stage food companies through initiatives like this incubator. The goal is to create opportunities for young food entrepreneurs and foster meaningful connections within the industry.
