Foodvalley NL, along with partners Brabant Development Agency (BOM) and Oost NL, will showcase 16 companies specializing in plant-based proteins and upcycling at Fi Europe 2025. The Netherlands is establishing itself as a leader in the alternative protein industry with strong infrastructure supporting agricultural production, research, and logistics. The Protein Community, part of Foodvalley NL, has already been instrumental in the development of over 200 plant-based products since its founding in 2017, fostering knowledge-sharing and collaboration among stakeholders.

The Upcycling Community, focused on repurposing food manufacturing by-products, will also be highlighted at the event to promote waste reduction and circular production models. The 16 companies featured at the joint booth will include a range of innovative organizations like Time-Travelling Milkman, Fiber Foods, and Magie Creations. BOM and Oost NL, the co-organizers, provide support to companies in plant-based food tech and international food companies looking to establish operations in the Netherlands, respectively, further solidifying the country's position as a hub for food innovation.
