Former Henkel and JBT-Marel Executive Jan Agter Appointed as CEO of Mycoprotein Producer ENOUGH

Jan Agter, a former executive at Henkel and JBT-Marel, has been appointed as the Interim CEO of mycoprotein producer ENOUGH, replacing co-founder Jim Laird. With over 25 years of experience in complex operations on an international scale, Agter will oversee the company's transition as it aims to maximize production to meet the demands of a growing market. Laird will shift to a non-executive role after six months.

ENOUGH has also appointed Justin Smith as Technology Director and Claire Meechan as Finance Director. Smith brings significant experience in biotechnology and pharma, heading the R&D and Process Technology teams. Meechan, who joined in 2023, will lead the Finance and Business Support team as the company focuses on scaling its manufacturing processes to meet the high demand for its sustainable protein product. Agter expressed excitement to work with the team in expanding ENOUGH's operations to become one of the largest sustainable protein facilities globally.
