Former Tyson Executives Join Beyond Meat

Two former Tyson executives, Doug Ramsey and Bernie Adcock, have joined Beyond Meat to assist with the company's global expansion and its goal of achieving price parity with animal protein. Ramsey, who previously oversaw Tyson's domestic poultry business and its relationship with McDonald's, has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer. Adcock, who assisted in scaling Tyson's business through technology integration, is now the Chief Supply Chain Officer at Beyond Meat.

Beyond Meat, already the top-selling plant-based meat brand in the US, is looking to increase production and commercialization across the US, Europe, and China with the help of these industry veterans. The company has released numerous new products in recent years, with the most popular being Beyond Chicken. Their partnerships with various major restaurant chains, such as KFC and Pizza Hut, have helped them solidify their position in the market as a leading plant-based meat provider.
