Formula One champion Lewis Hamilton has made a second investment in the plant-based pet food startup Bramble, which offers vegan pet food products formulated by vets. Hamilton, who is famously vegan, aims to raise awareness about the positive impact of a whole-food plant-based diet on dog health. His dog Roscoe, who serves as the brand's 'chief taste officer', saw significant health improvements on a vegan diet, prompting Hamilton's investment in Bramble.

Bramble, founded in 2021, offers premium vegan pet food products such as meals and treats that exceed complete and balanced diet standards set by the AAFCO. Research has shown the benefits of a plant-based diet for dogs, with Bramble's vegan formulations outperforming meat-based kibble in trials. The investment in Bramble is part of a growing trend towards sustainable and environmentally-friendly options in the pet food industry, driven by concerns about the impact of meat consumption on the environment.
