French plant-based egg producer Yumgo has opened a new 850 m² facility in Moissy-Cramayel, Seine-et-Marne, supported by the Île-de-France Region. With an annual production capacity of 1,500 tons, the new site will enable Yumgo to meet the increasing demand for its products and expand its presence in key markets like France, Europe, and Asia.

Founded in 2019 by Anne Vincent and Rodolphe Landemaine, Yumgo offers clean-label and allergy-friendly plant-based egg alternatives, including raw ingredients for chefs to create their own recipes, ready-to-use products like mayonnaise and plant-based cookies, and preparation bases for mousses, creams, and quiches. The facility will allow Yumgo to innovate, optimize logistics, reduce environmental impact, and continue to provide high-quality, delicious products to consumers.

The opening of the new facility follows Yumgo's reported turnover of over €1 million last year. Co-founder Rodolphe Landemaine stated, "Our mission is to show that technical performance, operational simplicity, culinary pleasure, and sustainability can coexist harmoniously. This new site increases our capacity to meet demand and support more chefs and industry players committed to sustainable and innovative food solutions."
