Garden Pizza, a popular artisanal pizza chain in Catalonia, Spain, has teamed up with plant-based meat brand Heura to introduce two new vegan options for Veganuary. The collaboration has resulted in the creation of Vegan Pizza-Dogs, a unique twist on the classic hot dog where the traditional bun is replaced with artisan pizza dough.

The Vegan Pizza-Dogs come in two varieties: the Classic option features vegan mozzarella, caramelized onions, Heura vegan Frankfurt, and mild mustard on an artisan pizza dough bun, while the Barbecue version includes vegan mozzarella, Heura ground beef, caramelized onions, Heura Frankfurt, and barbecue sauce. Heura's new Frankfurter, the essential ingredient in these products, is a clean-label meat alternative boasting fewer calories, less saturated fat, and more protein compared to conventional animal-based frankfurters.

Heura's commitment to innovation and sustainability is evident in their recent developments, including the launch of a new Innovation Laboratory, an improved B Corp rating, and receiving financial support to expand their plant-based meat offerings. The vegan Pizza-Dogs will be available for a limited time at all Garden Pizza locations throughout January, offering customers a delicious and guilt-free way to celebrate Veganuary.
