Global Fast Food Chain German Doner Kebab Launches Plant-Based Options in Over 140 Locations

German Doner Kebab (GDK), a global fast food chain with over 150 restaurants across the UK, mainland Europe, and the Middle East, has introduced eight plant-based options using Nestlé-owned Garden Gourmet’s Vegan Pulled Fillet. The new dish, named ‘OV Kebab’, features the meat alternative served on toasted waffle bread with fresh lettuce, red cabbage, onions, tomatoes, and GDK’s signature sauces.

The move to offer plant-based options follows the increasing demand for such products in the fast-food industry. GDK aims to rebrand the kebab experience by providing a plant-based version of their popular dishes. The plant-based doner meat is now available in over 140 UK locations, as well as through the GDK app and various delivery services.
