Gluten-Free, Plant-Based Eatery Set to Open in Southwest Michigan This Fall

Glofoods Eatery, a new vegan-friendly restaurant in Portage, Southwest Michigan, is set to open this November. Owned by Sarah Scott, the founder of Sweet Bees Bakery in Paw Paw, Glofoods will offer a dedicated gluten-free, peanut-free, plant-based kitchen to cater to those with food allergies. The menu will feature artisan sandwiches, soups, salads, bowls, to-go lunches, brunch items, and more, showcasing veganized classics like Chick’n Salad and “Egg” Salad handhelds.

In addition to savory offerings, Glofoods will also provide fresh, allergy-friendly desserts from its sister company, Sweet Bees Bakery. For those eagerly anticipating the opening, Sweet Bees Bakery in Paw Paw offers gluten- and dairy-free treats for a sweet fix in the meantime.
