GNT Launches New Investment Arm to Fast-Track Innovations in Plant-Based Colors

GNT, a Dutch plant-based ingredients company, has launched GNT Ventures, an independent investment firm focused on accelerating innovation and sustainability in plant-based colors. The VC will invest in startups developing new plant-based coloring solutions in areas such as raw materials, fermentation, processing, and food ingredients, providing financial support up to €1 million and expertise to help bring their ideas to market globally.

In addition to financial backing, GNT Ventures will support startups in their commercialization journey by offering access to a food-grade pilot plant, R&D and processing expertise, guidance on regulatory compliance, and assistance with reaching customers and intellectual property matters. GNT, known for its natural colors derived from fruits, vegetables, and plants through its EXBERRY brand, aims to establish mutually beneficial partnerships with startups that have bold visions for shaping the future of plant-based colors and innovations in the food industry.
