US dairy giant Chobani has acquired plant-based startup Daily Harvest, known for its whole-food plant-based bowls and smoothies, as part of its move into the frozen ready meal category. This acquisition marks Chobani's entry into the ready meal market, following its $900 million purchase of La Colombe Coffee Roasters two years ago. Daily Harvest CEO Ricky Silver will continue in his role, and the brand's team will remain unchanged as they explore new possibilities and innovations under Chobani's ownership.
