Greggs Brings Back The Vegan Festive Bake, Launches Ad With Nigella Lawson

Greggs has announced the return of its Vegan Festive Bake to this year's Christmas menu due to popular demand. The plant-based pastry features Quorn pieces, sage and onion stuffing balls, vegan bacon, cranberry sauce, and dairy-free puff pastry. To promote the festive menu, Greggs released an ad featuring British food writer and chef Nigella Lawson, who praises the bakery's seasonal offerings like sweet mince pies which are also suitable for vegans.

The collaboration with Nigella Lawson comes as Greggs continues to expand its vegan range, which includes items like the vegan sausage roll launched in 2019. Former CEO Roger Whiteside's plant-based diet inspiration from The Game Changers led to the creation of popular vegan options like ham and cheese baguettes and sausage breakfast rolls. While the Vegan Festive Bake is the only new addition to this year's Christmas menu, Greggs offers a variety of year-round vegan options for customers to enjoy.
