Heinz Launches Kid-Friendly Vegan ‘Magical Beanz Nuggetz’

Heinz has launched a new line of child-friendly vegan foods called Magical Beanz Nuggetz. These nuggets move away from the traditional chicken nugget trope and showcase beans and veggies instead. Available in three variations, two of the options are suitable for vegans, including the Original (made with tomato and sweetcorn) and Curry (with parsnip, carrot, coconut, and mild curry spices) flavors. The nuggets are coated in a crispy crumb and shaped like beans, paying homage to one of Heinz’s most iconic products.

Developed in response to the need for nutritious and quick meal options without meat, Heinz hopes to provide a delicious and wholesome option for parents looking to incorporate more plant-based foods into their children’s diets. Heinz has been releasing a range of bean-based products, such as Beanz Bowls, burgers, and now the Magical Beanz Nuggetz, to reimagine beans as a meal staple. The vegan-friendly nuggets are now available to purchase from Asda and online from Ocado, supporting parents in providing a tasty and convenient meat-free meal option for their families.
