Hippeas has launched a new line of protein-packed puffs called Protein Crunch in response to the increasing demand for plant-based snacks. The vegan snacks come in two flavors, Cheddar Vibrations and Pizza Party, and contain eight grams of pea protein per serving. This new product is part of the trend towards plant-based snacks, with more consumers adopting vegetarian and vegan diets for health and environmental reasons.

Other plant-based brands like Kite Hill and non-vegan brands like Khloe Kardashian's Khloud are also introducing high-protein options to meet the growing market demand. The global protein snacks market is expected to continue to grow, driven by consumers seeking nutritious alternatives to traditional snacks. Hippeas' Protein Crunch is available at Sprouts and will soon be available at Kroger, as well as online through the brand's website, Amazon, and the TikTok Shop.
