Hodo Launches Lightly Fried Tofu in Three Trending Flavors

Hodo has launched a new Lightly Fried Tofu range in three trending flavors: Chili Crisp, Golden Turmeric, and Gochujang. These tofu blocks are scored, lightly fried, and marinated to provide bold, juicy, and seasoned tofu ready for consumption. All three varieties are made with organic, non-GMO, and gluten-free tofu, catering to the increasing demand for Asian flavors in the market.

Last year, Hodo released a line of "Saucy Tofu" meals in three flavors and recently expanded into leading grocery retailers due to the growing consumer interest in less processed plant-based proteins. Founder and CEO Minh Tsai notes the strong demand for spicy Asian flavors and fermented foods among Millennials and Gen Z consumers. The new tofu varieties are available in select retailers such as Erewhon, Woodman's, and PCC Community Markets, with positive initial reactions from consumers.
