Over 100 companies in Canada and 2,000 globally are working towards animal welfare commitments by 2025, with more expected to follow suit. The guide offers a clear roadmap, guidance for supplier engagement, tools for internal alignment, and case studies of successful transitions, aiming to help businesses meet their deadlines while minimizing supply chain risks.

The guide outlines global best practices, provides advice on mitigating risks, maintaining market share, and keeping up with regulatory momentum. Companies are encouraged to use the guide to develop policies, engage with producers, and fulfill their commitments to reducing animal suffering. Currently available in English and Simplified Chinese, the guide will be published in other languages in the near future to reach a wider audience.
