Hundreds of Protesters March Against Hunting in Spanish City

Hundreds of protesters in Malaga, Spain marched against hunting and other animal issues, led by the Platform NAC (‘No to Hunting’). The protest focused on the treatment of hunting dogs, highlighting the lack of legal protection they receive compared to other dogs. The event gathered 1,500 participants and featured slogans such as “Equal rights for all dogs” and “The main reason we are here is for the hunting dogs, which are unprotected by the law”.

Protesters also raised concerns about alleged irregularities in Malaga regarding nonhuman animals, including illegal practices at the municipal kennel and the killing of wild boars in urban areas. Activists emphasized the need for ethical control over these practices and called for a population census to address issues such as overpopulation.
