Impossible Chicken Nuggets Are Now Available in Grocery Stores

Impossible Chicken Nuggets are now available in grocery stores nationwide, after a limited release in select restaurants earlier this year. The vegan nuggets, made from textured soy, herbs, and sunflower oil, are coated in crispy wheat breading and sold in 13.5 oz bags. They can be found in the frozen section of major grocery chains like Walmart, Kroger, and Safeway, among others.

In addition to grocery stores, meat-forward restaurants like Red Rooster and Fatburger have added the plant-based nuggets to their menus, with positive feedback from meat-eating customers. A blind taste-test in Texas showed that 74% of meat-eaters preferred the Impossible Chicken Nuggets over animal-based chicken nuggets from a well-known brand.
