Impossible Foods Debuts Vegan Pork

Impossible Foods has introduced vegan pork at Momofuku Ssäm Bar in Manhattan, with plans for a global release that will include over 100 restaurants in Hong Kong. The plant-based pork has already won consumers over in a blind taste test in Hong Kong, with 54% preferring it over animal-based pork. Not only is it more sustainable in terms of water usage, land, and greenhouse gas emissions, but it is also gluten-free and lower in calories and saturated fat than traditional pork.

Chef David Chang's Momofuku Ssäm Bar is the first US restaurant to feature Impossible Pork on its menu, with other locations such as Nice Day Chinese Takeout in New York and Asian Box in California also offering the vegan option. Asian Box has even created a new Impossible Pork Meatball Box for a limited time. With the versatility and juiciness of traditional pork, Impossible Pork opens up new possibilities for those looking to reduce their meat consumption without compromising on taste.
