James Cromwell voices Bigfoot in Veganuary’s first cinema ad

The first-ever cinema ad for Veganuary features Bigfoot, voiced by James Cromwell, signing up to go vegan to reduce his carbon footprint. The ad, produced by Kilogramme Animation Studio, shows Bigfoot realizing the need to take action after his snowman friend melts. The campaign aims to raise awareness about the impact of food choices on the planet, coinciding with a new study showing that 34% of UK adults are interested in trying a vegan diet.

The ad will be shown in over 500 UK cinemas during peak sign-up period for Veganuary. With over 582,000 people participating in Veganuary last year, the campaign has expanded globally, including in India for 2022. By providing participants with resources and support, Veganuary hopes to make shifting to a vegan diet easier and more accessible for individuals looking to make a positive impact on the environment.
