Juicy Marbles Debuts Butcher-Minced Bangers in Ocado UK Exclusive

Slovenian plant-based meat company Juicy Marbles has launched Butcher-Minced Bangers, a plant-based sausage exclusively available to UK shoppers through online retailer Ocado. Using a butchery-inspired method of mincing and casing plant-based whole cuts and fats, Juicy Marbles aims to provide a superior eating experience with a coarse-ground structure and visible fat cubes that render during frying. Each pack of six Bangers contains 12.4g of protein, no preservatives, and retails at £4.09.

The release marks a shift for Juicy Marbles from premium whole cuts to more everyday formats, expanding their range and price points. The company, known for its marbled plant-based steak, has introduced lower-cost whole-cut alternatives and partnered with other firms to produce fish alternatives. While the UK is one of Juicy Marbles' key markets, the Butcher-Minced Bangers will initially be sold exclusively online through Ocado, with no brick-and-mortar release date confirmed yet.
