Just Egg Launches in UK Backed by VFG’s £11.5M Investment in Production

The plant-based egg alternative, Just Egg, has officially launched in the UK through a collaboration between Eat Just and the Vegan Food Group (VFG). Made from mung beans, Just Egg has become a top-selling product in the US and is now available in the UK for £3.99 per 340ml carton.

VFG's investment of £11.5 million has helped build a fully automated production line in Germany capable of producing 500 million eggs annually. The product has received regulatory approval in Europe after a lengthy process, and the collaboration between Eat Just and VFG has paved the way for the European expansion of Just Egg. With exclusive rights for manufacturing and distribution, VFG aims to start production later this year in its German facility.
