KFC to Launch Plant-Based Fried Chicken Nationwide January 10

KFC is launching plant-based fried chicken in partnership with Beyond Meat nationwide on January 10. This is not the first time KFC has offered plant-based fried chicken, but it is the first time it will be available in locations across the US. The Beyond Fried Chicken is a limited-time offering and will be available while supplies last.

The plant-based chicken was developed by Beyond Meat exclusively for KFC and mimics the flavor and crunchiness of the brand's traditional recipe. It can be ordered in 6 or 12 pieces with a choice of dipping sauce and is also available in a combo meal with a medium drink and fries. This release marks the third iteration of the plant-based chicken recipe, and the nationwide availability suggests it may become a permanent menu item in the future.
